Hey Stephen! Apart from the line about the selfish little "__", these are pretty good lyrics. I like the theme running through it even though it does get a bit abstract at times! Keep it up man :D
ReplyDeleteHaha what's the point of aiming a song at a specific group of people if you're gonna do it half-arsed? Mind you when we did this song in my old band, we never said that word haha, it was one of those lines where, as a listener, you'd say it in your head but the singer finished the line off as "little". Abstract isn't the right word, it would be exaggerated - when it comes down to the arts (music, dance, drama/acting, painting etc.) the idea is to exaggerate everything. The arts is an expression of something, so it's either all or nothing =)
